Joining the library is easy and completely free!

Joining means you can borrow books from our lending library, and once you have your very own GWL borrower card, it also makes it much easier to sign up for our events and courses.

  • Music in the archive

    Last week, the Library had a visit from Debi Withers, one of the women behind the Women’s Liberation Music Archive. Glasgow Women’s Library were delighted to welcome Debi as she consulted material from our archive.

  • Coatbridge intergenerational project

    Our women’s history researchers from Coatbridge, the Lanarkshire Inquisitors, went back to school for 6 weeks and have been updating their technology skills, with a bit of help from 4th year students of the XL group at St Andrew’s High school in Coatbridge.
